We know that choosing the right supplier for your event is a major decision. For those who’ve not worked with us before this presents the question; ‘Why choose World Inspired Tents?’ Companies can be very good at telling their customers how great they are. World Inspired Tents was founded in 2007 and was the first dedicated tipi rental business in the South West. It’s a family run business that has continued to expand to include the Aurora Sailcloth.
World Inspired Tents is dedicated to providing a high-quality service to all their couples and clients. With over 15 years’ experience and hundreds of successful weddings and events behind them, they have built a reputation for being one of the most professional, reliable, well-equipped and friendly tent hire companies in the country.
We’ve grown, not just in size, but through the knowledge and experience we’ve gained along the way. We are a team of people who really know what we are doing, and we really love what we do!
Experience and reputation
Since starting World Inspired Tents back in 2007, our business has grown significantly. Most of that growth has come through word of mouth recommendation. Being one of the first dedicated tipi rental businesses in the UK, we have 12 years of knowledge and experience, and many hundreds of successful events under our belts. Through experience, we know that equipment can and does break. This is why we have built up a stock of back-up kit and vehicles. We always hold spare tipis and equipment in reserve (many companies don’t), which carries with it peace of mind for us and our customers.

Over the past ten years, we have won a number of awards. The Westcountry Wedding Awards and The Wedding Industry Awards are voted for by our customers and judged by a panel of industry experts.
Authentic Nordic Tipis
Since we started, we’ve only ever used authentic Nordic tipis from Tentipi AB of Sweden – founders of the Nordic Tipi event industry – and we’re proud to be part of their Authentic Nordic Tipi Programme.
MUTA Membership
Our dedicated approach to ‘best industry practice’ allows us to be members of MUTA, the UK’s marquee and temporary structure regulatory body. Members are rigorously assessed every year and if they don’t meet the standard, they don’t get to be a member. A key part of MUTA’s assessment focuses on Health & Safety for its member’s staff and their customers. Whoever you decide on, it is very important that you choose a MUTA member.

TestimonialsEnvironmental Commitment
We are committed to minimising the environmental impact of our activities and adhere to a detailed environmental pledge. Back in 2010, we launched the World Inspired Tree Campaign. We give each of our customers a sapling, potted and ready to plant. As well as marking their event, the sapling will grow up to be a beautiful tree, absorbing carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen. With many hundreds of saplings already planted, our tree campaign is firmly rooted in our company ethos.
